The Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko and the head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal approved the Regulations on scholarships of the Regional State Administration and the Regional Council for talented and promising athletes.
Also they approved the Regulations on monetary reward for athletes – winners or runners-up of national and international competitions, their coaches.
It is provided that the remuneration shall be appointed for those athletes (and their coaches), who take top places in the championships, sports games, National Games of Ukraine, places 1 to 12 in championships, European and World Cups, places 1 to 24 at the Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic Games.
The amount of rewards will range from 1,000 to 10,000 UAH.
The Office of Youth and Sports of the Regional State Administration was instructed to make provisions for scholarships and rewards from the regional budget while forming the draft regional budget for 2016.
