Today, September 6, in "Padiyun" celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Sport in Ukraine took place. Young Transcarpathian athletes, champions of Ukraine, Europe and the world, their coaches and many other people that are directly related to sports were invited.
The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda, Mayor Victor Pogorelov and head of the regional Department of Youth and Sport Vitaliy Erfan greeted everyone and awarded the greatest athletes of the regions with diplomas of different categories and campaign buttons "For the development of the region." And all the winners of nationwide competitions in various sports and their coaches were also given a monetary award.
As part of the celebration of the Day of Sport handball team "Carpaty" received a new uniform. The same uniform was recently given to pupils of Olympic reserve football school.
Also the visitors were congradulated by the contemporary dance studio "Blitz" and a young singer Victor Papp.
