The ceremonial session of the sports activists of the region was held on September 5, in the Regional Drama Theatre.
Soon, Transcarpathian athletes and all involved in sports will celebrate the professional holiday – the Day of Physical Culture and Sports. At the ceremony, they honored the best athletes.
The head of the region presented awards of the regional administration. Thus, Diana Beke, Oleksandr Hubal and Andriy Maksimovich were awarded with graditudes of the head of the RSA. Vasyl Ivanko, Oleg Murtazi, Andriy Chehil, Victor Chernov and Andriy Shyp received diplomas of the regional administration.
The insignia of the Regional Administration and the Regional Council – the medal "For the development of the region" – was awarded to the coach of the Judo section of Uzhgorod Youth Sports School № 1 Andriy Sherehi.
Also, on the occasion of the holiday, athletes and coaches have received monetary awards, – the press-center of the RSA reported.
