Transcarpathian artists will celebrate the Day of Hungarian Culture with an exhibition in Uzhgorod

On the Day of Hungarian Culture, tomorrow, January 22, at 16.00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, members of the regional Association of Artists named after M.Munkachi will present their works.

Founded in 1993, the Association now has about one hundred representatives of Hungarian intellectuals in Transcarpathia: writers and journalists, musicians and actors, visual artists. The latter account for almost one third of the Association. Among them, there are such known names as Endre Hidi, Olga Skakandiy, Anton Kovach, Ivan Reiti, Gabor Gomoki, Margarita Berets, Petro and Gabriela Sholteses, Mykhailo and Magdalina Belen, Yosyp and Tetyana Bartoszes and others.

The exhibition will feature many varieties of fine and decorative art, paintings and graphic works, ceramics, tapestries and more.

The exhibition of members of the Association of Artists named after M.Munkachi and the creative organization ArtTysa will run to February 5.
