Transcarpathia was recognized as the most attractive region for tourism in Ukraine – the survey (+Infographic)

The most attractive tourist destination in Ukraine is the Carpathians and the most attractive region for tourism is Transcarpathia. These are the results of a survey conducted by the TNS on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.

The Carpathians received 52% of respondents’ votes, 18% chose the Crimea, the Black Sea coast is on the third place – 15%, and Shatsky Lakes with 4% are on the fourth place.
As for the most attractive regions for tourism, Transcarpathia won the top position with 31% of the votes, Lviv region is the second (27%), Odesa region is the third (13%), Ivano-Frankivsk region is the fourth (9%), Kherson region is the fifth (2%).
