Transcarpathia remembers: events on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster

As part of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the tragedy at Chernobyl, a series of events will be held in Transcarpathia.
In particular, in Uzhgorod, on Tuesday, April 26, at the monument to Transcarpathian liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster on Druzhba Narodiv square, there will be a meeting-requiem and laying of flowers to the monument. The event will start at 11.00 and will be attended by top officials of the region, heads of cities and districts, representatives of community organizations, law enforcement agencies and the clergy of various denominations.

Then, the meeting to mark the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster will continue in the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth "PADIYUN." The gala concert-requiem to honor the liquidators will start there at 11.30.
