Transcarpathian region, with the assistance of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic Oleg Havashi won the grant in the amount of 673 thousand euro, which was announced by the Slovak government as a part of the EU ‘Eastern Partnership’ project. The project partners are the Transcarpathian Agencies: CP ‘Agency of Regional Development and Cross-Border Cooperation “Zakarpattia” of Transcarpathian Regional Council’, Transcarpathian Investment Agency and CP ‘Uzhgorod District Agency for Investment Development’.
The projects with the implementation of the heating system with the use of alternative types of energy on Uzhgorod region territory with the telemetric monitoring system of hydrological parameters support in the rivers of the region will be realized at the grant funds expense. There will also be implemented two ‘soft’ projects: the ‘Smart-Energy Carpathia’ agency creation (Information and Consulting Center in the energy sphere). The funds will also be allocated on the creation of the favorable investment climate for business entities, – informs the Regional Council press center.
