December 12, in the sport complex "Yunist" in Uzhgorod, there was the final mini-football tournament among police teams of Transcarpathia dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the creation of Ukrainian police. The competition was attended by 8 teams.
All teams showed their sportsmanship, but the best players turned out to be the team of Uzhgorod city police. First, the Uzhgorod team defeated the Tyachiv team 4-1, and in the final match they defeated the team from Rakhiv 4-3.
– The game was very exciting, because each team tried to prove their professionalism, – the chief of Uzhgorod police, lieutenant colonel Yevhen Kalytych said. – Each player of our team was focused on winning. The tension of the match was considerable, the intrigue continued until the last minute. And we managed to win in the finals!
At the ceremony, the winning team was awarded with medals, certificates and new sets of sports uniform by the Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region police colonel Vasyl Bukovchanyk.
