Transcarpathia: payments for “alcohol and tobacco” brought more than 10,600,000 UAH to the Treasury

This amount was transferred during 9 months in 2014 to the budget of Transcarpathian region by payers of a fee for license to retail trade in alcoholic beverages and tobacco. Between January and September this year, entities received 4931 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol and tobacco, 257 licenses were suspended and 526 licenses were revoked.

Recall that to obtain such license, a business entity must apply to the Taxpayers Service Center. Enclosed to the application must be a certificate of electronic cash register registration. License is issued only after the actual receipt of license fees to the appropriate budget, which is verified by an authorized licensing entity based on a copy of the payment order (marked by the bank as paid) to be submitted by the applicant, the certificate of the financial institution of the actual receipt of funds to the budget.

It should be emphasized that the license is issued to the applicant upon presentation of identification document (for individuals) or to the authorized representative of the applicant.
