The fifth International Symposium of Ecologists of Montenegro (ISEM5) was held by scientists from the Department of Biology of the University of Montenegro and the Natural History Museum of Montenegro.
The National Park "Synevyr" for the first time took part in this international event, which took place recently in the city of Tivat. The Director of the National Park "Synevyr", honored environmentalist of Ukraine Mykola Derbak and Doctor of Biological Sciences of the Institute of Botany Svitlana Ziman presented to the scientific community the report "On the conservation of rare vascular plants in "hot spots" in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians."
During the international symposium, they presented the latest knowledge on ecology and the environment, which has been accumulated over recent years. Each chapter began with a new report prepared by prominent environmentalists from Montenegro and other countries.
