Transcarpathia may be flooded because of raising water in rivers

Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns of a significant rise in the water level in the rivers of Transcarpathia.

Currently, the initial outflow of water on the floodplain is also possible, the press center of the State Emergencies Services reported. "On 10-11 of February, the increase of water levels in the rivers of Transcarpathian region by 0.3-0.8 m is expected, in the lower reaches of the Borzhava and the Latorica rivers – by 0.8-1.3 m above the current levels," – the Insider reported.

"As of 8:00 on February 10, the initial outflow of water on the floodplain is possible," – representatives of the Hydrometeorological Center added.
