Transcarpathia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions will be connected together by a new highway – “Small Carpathian Ring”

The new road should also connect ski resorts of Transcarpathian, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. 
Lviv Regional State Administration, with the participation of Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian Regional State Administrations, is completing the development of the Small Carpathian Ring project, which involves the construction of a 100 km ring road to connect the three regions and ski resorts located on their territories. 
This was reported by the CFTC with reference to the Interfax-Ukraine.
"We have developed out a plan together with the heads of Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian Regional State Administrations, they support the construction of the so-called "Small Carpathian Ring", – Vasyl Lozynsky, the First Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration said at the International Economic Forum in Lviv. 
According to him, the preliminary cost of the project is UAH 1 billion, which the Lviv Regional State Administration wants to request from the Cabinet to be allocated out of the UAH 2 billion provided under the Carpathian Regional Development Program for 2020. 
According to Lozynsky, the plans are to have all documents ready by the summer of 2020. In an optimistic scenario, the project is expected to be implemented in three years.
