The organizational committee on preparation and celebration of the Ukraine’s Day of Defender has been established in the region and the plan of measures for preparation and celebration of the holiday in the region has been approved.
The authorities plan to organize on October 13, in the Transcarpathian regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after Sherehiy brothers, a solemn meeting and concert with the participation of representatives of local authorities, local self-government, representatives of the public, law enforcement and security agencies, diplomatic missions, figures of science and culture.
Also, there will be the awarding of state awards, medals. On the Hill of Glory, there will be memorial events dedicated to the Day of Defender.
The events will cost the regional budget 15,000 UAH.
