Transcarpathia is among the three regions with the largest decline in agricultural production

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January this year, the decline in agricultural production in Transcarpathia compared to the same period in the last last year amounted to 4.8%. 

The situation is worse only in Mykolaiv region, where the decline is recorded at 15%, and in Kharkiv region, where the decline is 7%. On average in Ukraine, the decline in agricultural production for this period is 2.4%.

The growth in agricultural production was recorded only in Vinnytsia region – 14%, Kherson region – 7.4%, Ternopil region – 5.5%, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 2.1%, Cherkasy region – 1.5% and Zhytomyr region – 0.9%
