Transcarpathia is among the poorest regions of Ukraine (State Statistics Service)

The largest GDP is recorded in Kyiv. It is followed by Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The average gross regional product in Ukraine in 2017, according to the State Statistics Service, is 70.2 thousand hryvnias per capita. The real GDP per capita for 2017 has increased by 2.9%.

The nominal GDP in actual prices for 2017 is UAH 2.983 billion.

 The largest GDP per capita was recorded in Kyiv (UAH 238.6 thousand), which is 3.4 times more than the general indicator in the country (UAH 70.2 thousand). It followed by Poltava (UAH 106.2 thousand), Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 97.1 thousand) and Kyiv (UAH 90.0 thousand) regions. 

Luhansk (UAH 13.9 thousand), Chernivtsi (UAH 31.5 thousand) and Transcarpathian regions (UAH 34.2 thousand) are at the bottom of the list.
