Transcarpathia is among the five regions with the highest inflation

Since the beginning of the year, the inflation rate in Transcarpathia is 141.7%. Together with Kyiv (145.5%), Ternopil (144.5%), Lviv (144.4%), Ivano-Frankivsk (142.3%) regions, Transcarpathia is among the five regions with the highest inflation. 

The average inflation rate in five months this year amounted to 140.1%. 

Since the beginning of the year, prices of food have increased by 38%, household appliances and household items – by 36%, transportation and medical services – by 24%.
