On Friday, July 19, the Acting Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Svyshcho participated in the nationwide conference call chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul. At the meeting they discussed several important issues. In particular, the preparation to the upcoming heating season and the implementation of public housing programs.
According to Igor Svyshcho, currently, Transcarpathian region is almost 20% ahead of plan of the preparation for the heating season. The dynamics of payment for consumed energy also remains positive. Thus, in January-June 2013, population paid off for energy at 105.4%, industrial enterprises – at 101.7%, farmers – at 101.5%. As for payment for gas, the figures are even better: private citizens paid 124.7%, the institutions financed from the state budget – 104.8%, institutions financed from the local budget – 101,5%.
With regard to government housing programs, this year, 5.5 million hryvnias are provided for their implementation in Transcarpathian region. From this amount, they plan to give 184 bank loans. Currently, 26 Transcarpathian families received homes under the program of cheap housing mortgage loans. Another 9 applications are pending in banks. In addition, 10 young families signed the relevant agreements on preferential loans.
