Transcarpathia has its own battalion of defenders!

On May 30, in Uzhgorod, the Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion was formed on the basis of the former infantry regiment.

Soldiers of the territorial defense battalion will guard strategically important objects in the region, state border, government bodies, and most importantly – peace and tranquility of Transcarpathians.

On Monday, soldiers of the battalion will start training on Uzhgorod training ground where they will be training to shoot from firearms and honing military skills.

The Territorial Defence Battalion will be deployed in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo.
