Transcarpathia has been internationally recognized as wine-making region

Ukraine has been recognized a wine-growing country. All winery regions of Ukraine were included into the special registry of the USA.

Ukrainian wine industry corporation "Ukrvynprom" represented by the General Director Volodymyr Kucherenko, on the initiative of the wine factory "Chizay" – producer of Transcarpathian wines and member of the Corporation,

has conducted extensive work with financial, economic and governmental structures of the United States on the recognition of Ukraine as a wine-growing country.

The inclusion of wine-growing regions of Ukraine to the United States official registry will enable Ukrainian producers to export high-quality wines to America.

Recognition of Transcarpathia as a wine-making region will allow to deliver the highest quality varietal wines. The American market has become fully open to all segments of wine products – Ukrainian manufacturer can compete in the United States with long recognized wine-growing regions of the world.

The agreement between the "Ukrvynprom" Corporation and the United States on the recognition of Ukraine as a wine-making country opens doors for supply of high-quality wines to the United States. This is especially relevant in the current situation when Ukrainian wineries have to seek alternative markets for their products.
