Transcarpathian Regional Council appeals to the central government of Ukraine to extend the financial and infrastructural experiment to our region. It is about allocation of funds received from customs over the target specifically for the construction of roads.
Given the characteristics of our region as a border, transit and tourist area, the former head of the RSA, the deputy of the Regional Council Vasyl Hubal suggested to apply this program to Transcarpathia. Currently, it is known that this experiment will be conducted in Odesa region. Also they are considering Lviv region. Transcarpathia needs additional funds for roads no less – Transcarpathian deputies believe, and therefore they voted to support the proposition. Currently, the region will be awaiting a reply from Kyiv. Today, our region is one of those that fulfill the target budget revenues from customs.
