Yesterday, a 23.42, a citizen of Ukraine driving a car "VW Passat" with Lithuanian registration arrived at the customs post "Solotvino" of the Transcarpathian customs office. He chose for customs control the "green corridor", submitted the letter of authorization for the operation of the vehicle, and the registration certificate.
The customs officers, analyzing risks of offense, sent a request to the Lithuanian notary to confirm or deny the validity of the document.
"The letter of authorization was not issued and not certified. The notarial register number does not match with numbers of any notarial documents and acts registered in the register of 2014-2015"s was the answer of the notary.
Thus, the citizen of Ukraine moved a car across the border of Ukraine on the basis of forged documents such, namely a letter of authorization for the operation of the vehicle.
These actions contain signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations has been drawn up, the vehicle was seized.
