Summarizing the "Pre-Easter" period of the election campaign in Transcarpathia, we can note the low activity of campaigning on billboards.
Of all the candidates, only Oleg Lyashko’s political advertising is widely placed on billboards. As previously reported, they appeared after April 10. And, as the OPORA observers noted, they did not contain the background data which is a violation of Article 59 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Election of the President of Ukraine."
However, already after April 15, stickers with the required information appeared on Lyashko’s campaign billboards in Uzhgorod.
In addition, last week, activists in Uzhgorod began distributing printed booklets with the campaigning for Oleg Lyashko.
The first billboards of the presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko were noticed on the streets of Uzhgorod on April 18. During the last week, activists on the streets of Uzhgorod were also handing out Poroshenko’s propaganda newspaper "To live in a new way."
On main squares of Uzhgorod, during the last two weeks, activists were handing out the paper "Real president" in the campaign tents of the presidential candidate Anatoliy Hrytsenko. The information about publishing house and the circulation of printed materials, as previously reported, were added on the paper by hand.
