The training "Active Citizens" by the British Council in Ukraine will be held on Saturday and Sunday March 18-19. The training will take place in the yellow building of UzhNU at Zankovetska st., 89 and will begin at 10 am on both days.
"Active Citizens" is a program for those who want to see changes in their town or village, but do not know where to start, how to unite people, where to find money and how to turn a simple idea into a project that makes changes in the environment in which we live. Ideas can be various and relate to culture, environment, education, intercultural dialogue – any ideas that have a social impact.
The feature of this training is that the participants will make an "expedition" to the city, where the will be analyzing the situation and think about what can be changed. As a result of the training, the participants will have a complete project that they will be able to submit for the contest for funding from the British Council.
We believe that there will always be people who are open to new knowledge, collaboration and willing to change the world. Those are the people we are looking for. You can register using this small form: https://goo.gl/forms/AuGzY7WDWiBL29mh1
