Trainers were thrown at ‘deputy-separatist’ Kolesnichenko in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The event ‘Throw an old trainer at Kolesnichenko – save Ukrainian language’ was held at Teatralna Square today, June 5. The purpose is to draw Uzhgorod citizens’ attention to Kolesnichenko-Kivalov ‘language’ bill, which actually gives Russian the official language status. All the willing could express their dissatisfaction by throwing trainer at the deputy Kolesnikov’s photo. Organizers have not chosen accidentally such an unusual way of disrespect expression. Trainer was thrown at the President George Bush Jr. in 2008.

 However, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine had already adopted the scandalous bill on the first reading while the activists were throwing at the famous ‘admirer’ of Ukrainian language photo.

‘The language discussion is the most important for our country nowadays. They adopt the bill on the regional languages that will additionally drag a billion hryvnia from the budget instead of the leading Ukraine out of the crisis. Such is the bilingual price, – said one of the organizers – Volodymyr Feskov, the head the public organization “The Regional Foundation Initiatives”.

Such events were held in almost all the regions of Ukraine today. All the trainers were gathered and sent to Kyiv in the ‘language’ bill protest.
