Tragedy in Transcarpathia: a man was killed by a train

Last night, the electric train "Mukachevo-Syanky" ran over a man. 
The assistant to the driver reported to the police about the tragedy that had happened at 7:30 pm at the "Sil" railway station. 
According to the Transcarpathian regional police, the driver is a resident of Mukachevo born in 1969. 
After exiting the bend, the driver saw a man lying on the track and engaged emergency brake. However, despite the emergency braking, the train could not stop in time and ran over the man. Source.
The police identified the deceased. He was a resident of the village of Domashyn in Velyky Berezny district, born in 1962. 
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of this incident to find out why the man was on the track.
