Deputy Chief of Traffic Police Volodymyr Reznikov officially declared that all citizens who film traffic officers on camera can get a penalty of 15 days of administrative arrest.
This information is contained in his response to a request, dated July 20, 2012, informs infocar.ua.
According to the Civil Code, a person has the right to demand to be recorded on video, said Reznikov. However, the Deputy Chief of Traffic Police is convinced that for refusing to stop shooting inspector has the right to make a protocol that provides 15 days of arrest.
Up untill now all official police statements declared that there no laws prohibiting to film traffic officers.
