Traditional European Days of Sustainable Energy have started in Uzhgorod

Traditional European Days of Sustainable Energy began in Uzhgorod yesterday, June 4. A series of activities, which will last until Friday, June 8, started with the exhibition of energy-saving technologies and renewable energy sources on Teatralna Square. Exim Solar, Solar Karpathy, the power company group RENER presented their products. Uzhgorod citizens and visitors of the city can learn about the advantages of using solar power plants, batteries and collectors, heat pumps, hydropower – both for housing and commercial use.

Representatives of companies are answering questions, advising, providing information materials about the possibilities of using the energy of the sun, wind, earth, air, explaining what data are needed for calculations. The people are mostly interested in the equipment capacities compared to the usual gas, its cost, maintenance features, warranty terms, payback period.

Also in three libraries of Uzhgorod (on 8 Bereznya street, the Regional Library, on Bogdan Khmelnytskyi Square), they held master classes on renewable energy for children. In particular, children were assembling toys – cars, robots – that work on solar panels.

Recall that the Days of Sustainable Energy are held in Uzhgorod for the first time, but they will become a traditional annual event. During this week, educational eventsboth for adults and for children will be held at various locations in Uzhgorod.
