The village of Vuchkove is known not only as the home of the Carpathian bee, but also for the unique geyser located here, in the Petrovets tract, the Tourist Information Center of Transcarpathia informs.

This natural phenomenon in Mizhhirya district of Transcarpathia is one of the most exciting events that tourists can see while visiting the Carpathians.

Today, the natural monument that is unique to Ukraine, almost every 2 hours (depending on various circumstances and season), discharges water 4-6 meters high for about 10 minutes.

There is a similar cold mineral geyser in Slovak Herlany, in 2002 it was listed as a World Heritage site and natural attraction of Slovakia. It raises considerable interest among scientists who hold international conferences every year, in particular on geotourism.

Locals call the geyser the fountain and can show you the way to it.

Unfortunately, tourists often leave a lot of waste near the geyser, and its amount, as well as the number of tourists, is growing.
