On Thursday, December 13, a plenary meeting of the 13th session of the seventh convocation will take place in the session hall of the Regional Council. The agenda includes more than fifty items. The beginning is at 11.00.
During the meeting, the regional deputies will consider parliamentary inquiries, then the chairman of the Regional Council Mykhailo Rivis will report on his yearly activities, and the deputies will approve the main financial document of the region – the regional budget for 2019, and will also adopt appeals to higher levels of power. In particular, regarding: co-financing of the winners of the European Neighborhood Instrument Cross-Border Cooperation Programs 2014-2020 from the state budget; as well as the support for the wine-making industry of the region; common checkpoints on the border with the EU; the immediate cessation of the Cabinet’s decision to raise the price of gas for the population; preservation of inter-ethnic concord and peace in Transcarpathian region.
