Tomorrow, the flags of Ukraine and the EU will be solemnly raised in Uzhgorod

Vehicular traffic near the RSA will be temporarily blocked
On Thursday, May 11, at 11.00, on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod, there will be a ceremony of raising the national flag of Ukraine and the flag of the EU on the occasion of the adoption of the decision of the EU Council to abolish visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and the celebration of Europe Day. The event will be attended by representatives of executive authorities and local self-government, winners of student competitions, European diplomats, representatives of culture and science, the media, residents and visitors of the city.

In this regard, starting from 10.30 until the end of the event (around 11.45), vehicular traffic at the intersection of Dovzhenko – Mayakovsky streets (near school №3), Volodymyr Goshovsky – Mendeleev streets (opposite the medical faculty of UzhNU) and from the RSA building towards Shevchenko monument will be blocked. Please consider this information when planning your trips in the center of Uzhgorod. Also, please do not park your cars in the morning on that day in front of the flagpole on Narodna Square (near the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod National University).
