On Thursday, February 15, the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of commemoration of the participants of wars in the territory of other states and the 29th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan will be held in Transcarpathia.
In Uzhgorod, the events will begin at 11.00 am, near the monument "Grieving mother" on Pravoslavna embankment.
The rally will be attended by soldiers-internationalists, regional, city officials, the public and clergy. They will lay of wreaths and flowers to the foot of the memorial, observe a minute of silence.
Events on the occasion of the commemoration of the participants of wars in the territory of other states will take place in all districts and cities of Transcarpathia.
