October at the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic traditionally started with the International Day of Music, and the entire month promises to be full of artistic events.
In particular, on October 6, the soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, honored artist of Ukraine Etella Chupryk will present "Masterpieces of World Piano Music". The concert starts at 18.30. The presenter – Katerina KERECHANYN.
Mozart’s fantasies, Schubert’s impromptu, Chopin’s polonaises and waltzes, Liszt’s "Sposalizio" are great choices of our brilliant performer that can please a broadest range of listeners.
It should be noted that those are favorite composers of Etella Chupryk. Some of them even became landmarks in the creative career of the Transcarpathian pianist. In particular, at the age of five, she gave her first public concert, during which she performed "Waltz" №7 by Chopin and "Serenade" by Schubert. And a real professional take-off of the young performer was her victory at the Liszt International Competition in 1991.
Our compatriot brilliantly combines her pedagogical work (since 1998, she has been working as an assistant professor of the special piano department at Lviv National Music Academy)with concert activity.
