On April 21, at 11.00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth, there will be the third (regional) stage of the National children’s reading competition "Book-o-mania 2016".
Readers of libraries for children, winners of district and city stages of the competition "Book-o-mania 2016", leaders of children’s reading, the most active, most educated children of our region will take part in the competition.
Based on the jury’s decision, two best readers of the region will be determined, one of the 6th and one of the 7th grades who will receive the title of the "Best reader of the region" and will go to Lviv on May 12-15 for festival of children’s reading "Book-o-mania."
In addition, another winner will be determined – "Book Knight of the publishing house "Karpaty" – 2016". The state publishing house "Karpaty" will give a special prize to a participant of the competition who has read the largest number of books by Transcarpathian authors.
It is not accidentally that the regional book festival takes place these days – on the eve of the World Day of Book and Copyright which us celebrated on April 23.
As part of the event, there will also be a meeting with writer Oleksandr Havrosh and the presentation of the book "Legends of the Silver Rus."
