Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, there will be no water in some parts of the city

The administration of the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" reminds that on September 2-3, the emergency repair work was carried out to eliminate the accident in the sewage collector near Solyany Lane. During the work, it was found out that it was technically impossible to restore the damaged section of the collector. Instead of the damaged section, a temporary line of the collector was installed.

Currently, the first phase of work on the construction of a new line of the sewage collector with a length of 70 meters and diameter of 800 mm is being completed.

Due to this, water supply from Mynai water intake will be suspended from 20:00 on Wednesday (September 21) until the work completion.

The left bank part of the city (including adjacent settlements and the settlements belonging to Korytnyany village council) and some of the right-bank part of the city (Mytna, Sobranetska, Zahorska, Yenkivska, Hvardiyska, Ivan Franko, Shchedrin, Dovzhenko streets, Nezalezhnist embankment) will be without water supply.

The information about the progress and time of the resumption of water supply will be announced additionally on Thursday, September 22.

• do not use raw water until its full clarification.
