Today, Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv ​​met with Professor Serhiy Turyanytsya

Today, Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv ​​met with Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Doctor of the Transcarpathian Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, Head of the Infectious Diseases Course of the Faculty of Dentistry of Uzhgorod National University, Serhiy Turyanytsya. 
Last month, on July 24, the famous Uzhgorod doctor turned 80. Serhiy Mykhailovych has been in the profession for over 60 years. Also since 1963, he has been teaching at Uzhgorod University. He is a member of the World Congress of Infectious Diseases Doctors, author of numerous scientific papers and guidelines. In particular, Serhiy Turyanytsya presented one of his latest works – an English-language book that has just been published, intended primarily for foreign medical students of Uzhgorod National University – "Clinical Infectious Diseases." 
During the meeting, they also discussed the situation with coronavirus infection, Serhiy Mykhailovych shared his observations and stressed the importance of following the recommendations for protection against COVID-19. 
Bohdan Andriyiv presented the jubilee with the diploma of the Uzhgorod City Council on the occasion of the 80th anniversary, wished him good health, joyful and happy days for many years to come.
