According to the administration of the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod," yesterday during emergency repairs on Gagarin street, it was found out that the scope of work was greater than expected. Because of that, the work was not completed.
However, they managed to replace a 10-meter-long section of water pipe with the diameter of 200 mm, arranged a well with valves and connected surrounding buildings to the network.
Today, they will be carrying out the replacement of a 63 mm water pipe section running from the main line in the direction of Gagarin lane district and providing water supply for the neighbourhood "’Elektrodbyhun’ factory" with private buildings (the beginning of Baranyntsi).
In this regard, temporarily, for the duration of the emergency repairs, there may be interruptions of water supply in this area.
In addition, for the period of work performance, vehicular traffic near the house number 143a on Gagarin street will be hampered.
All inconveniences will be eliminated immediately after the work completion – Uzhgorod city council informs.
