Today, the regional deputies adopted the budget for 2017

Today, the third plenary meeting of the fifth session of the Regional Council took place under the chairmanship of Mykhailo Rivis.

 Although the electronic voting system "Viche" was not working for technical reasons, deputies decided to continue voting by a show of hands.

  The Chairman of the Regional Council announced a number of parliamentary inquiries, which were supported unanimously.

   Also, they heard the Chief of the National Police in Transcarpathian region Roman Stefanyshyn on the fight against crime, public order and the work of the National Police Office in Transcarpathian region.   

The issue of the regional budget for 2017 was the most lively discussed, the deputies made suggestions and amendments. As a result, 35 deputies voted for the main financial document. So, next year, the approved budget of Transcarpathia will be with UAH 5.230 billion revenues and of UAH 5.222 billion expenditures.

The reserve fund of the regional treasury for 2017 is approved in the amount of UAH 10 million. The expenditures include the funds for the implementation of local (regional) programs in the amount of UAH 207.8 million.

The regional deputies also approved the Memorandum of interregional cooperation between the Poltava Regional Council, Transcarpathian Regional Council and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council and the Appeal to higher authorities on urgent issues in the life in the region.
