Today, the patrol police will begin using the TruCam speed measurement device

On October 8, 2018, patrol policemen will begin using TruCam speed measuring devices at the sites of high traffic accident rate and on international roads.

The patrol police will be using TruCam with traffic signs informing about photo and video recording of violations on international highways and in cities with higher accident rates due to speeding.

Police vehicles equipped with blue beacons will be located in the places where the speed limit violations will be recorded.

During the first week, the patrol police will be using TruCam in pilot mode so that road users get accustomed to the innovation.

To prevent abuse and corruption, the TruCam device contains an AES encryption algorithm, which makes it impossible to interfere with the system and alter the data.

Also, the Patrol Police Department’s monitoring service will be checking the number of drawn up administrative reports and the number of saved videos.
