Today, official delegation from the Chinese twin city of Uzhgorod – Xinzhou – met with the leadership of Uzhgorod  
. In particular, the delegation consisted of: the Deputy Mayor of Xinzhou Wu Xiangtan, chiefs of the departments of municipal economy Wang Lansheng, economic development Liu Yongfei, planning and natural resources Wang Xiangming, foreign affairs Li Xiong, and specialist of the department of foreign affairs Xin Kiely. 
The Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv greeted the guests and noted how fast time had passed since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Xinjiang at the celebration of the Day of Uzhgorod last year, adding that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China is expected to visit Uzhgorod soon. Bohdan Andriyiv stressed that China is a large country with a rich history, culture, and economic cooperation is especially important. Uzhgorod city authorities, for their part, will help attract business to cooperate with Chinese partners. "We are interested in investors," – Bohdan Andriyiv said. 
Wu Xiangtan, on behalf of the Mayor of Xinzhou, congratulated on the Day of Uzhgorod, which will be celebrated shortly. He noted that the Chinese party was very interested in establishing economic cooperation and invited to an international conference in their city in October. In particular, another document is planned to be signed there – the Cooperation Agreement between Uzhgorod and Xinzhou. Source.Uzhgorod City Council. Official page
