Today, the municipal buses started running in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The first three large municipal buses made their first trip today, on Sunday, October 21.

This was solemnly reported by the press service of Uzhgorod City Council:

"I congratulate all of us on the commencement of the municipal transport in Uzhgorod. It took a long time, it was not easy, but, despite the skepticism, we did it: today, the first three out of ten new large buses "Elektron", purchased by us for the Uzhgorod Municipal Transport Utility Company, started running on the route No. 20. Why this route, you may ask? Because the carrier, who was working on it, terminated the contract in June, so we conducted a new tender for transport service, and the municipal utility won it. Soon, seven more "Elektrons" will start running on a new route – No. 18", – the mayor Bohdan Andriyiv wrote on his facebook page.

Buses on the route No.20 "Koryatovich sq. – Market" depart from the bus stop, which is located on Koryatovich square in front of the Chemistry Faculty of UzhNU, – the city hall reported.
