On April 7, seven Transcarpathians received high state awards. On behalf of the President of Ukraine, their awards were presented by the head of the region Hennadiy Moskal.
Mykhailo Malets, participant of the Revolution of Dignity was awarded with the Order "For courage" of the III degree. Olena Fedorova, the head of the Transcarpathian regional council of the Union of Ukrainian Women was awarded with the Order of Princess Olha.
Ella Grigorieva, the actress of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater and Mykhailo Fishchenko, the actor of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after Sherehiy brothers were granted the honorary title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
Lyudmila Ukhach, teacher of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts received the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine". The title of "Honored Social Worker" was granted to Lyubov Vaynraukh, the head of the Service for Children of Khust District State Administration, the title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine" – to painter Vasyl Shyndra.
On the same day, a number of Transcarpathians received from Hennadiy Moskal the RSA awards "For merits to Transcarpathia". Those are the head of Tyachiv DSA Vasyl Demyanchuk and the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Range Administration Valeriy Murga. The same award was also presented to deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Vasyl Fedurtsyo and the President of the Transcarpathian Regional Federation of Kickboxing, honored coach of Ukraine, Anatoliy Pertsev.
For humanity, reciprocity and efficiency in organizing humanitarian aid from the Government of Hungary to seriously ill Transcarpathians, Hennadiy Moskal presented the honorary award of the RSA, which is unofficially called "Golden Bear", to the Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod Jozsef Buhayla.
