Today, Orthodox Christians celebrate Epiphany

Celebrations will be held in all localities, particularly in Uzhgorod.

In the capital, the ritual blessing of the water will be attended by heads of the Orthodox Church.

At 12:00 on Obolonska embankment, near the Holy Protection Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church there will be the celebration of Epiphany with the participation of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Volodymyr.

And at 14:00, Kyiv residents and guests are expected in the Park of Culture and Rest "Hydropark" near the chapel in honor of the Baptism of the Lord, where the water will be sanctified by the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Kyiv Patriarchate, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret.
