Today Ledyda presented 11 apartments and 7 cars

On Wednesday, January 9, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda handed the keys to the apartments to the countrymen who received housing at the expense of government programs. Also the head of the region handed special cars to Transcarpathians with disabilities.
In 2012, in the Transcarpathian region the RSA and local executive authorities used about 2 million hryvnias for purchase of 11 apartments. According to the head of the regional department of labor and social protection Victor Matsola, 4 apartments were purchased for soldiers-internationalists, 4 – for citizens affected by the Chernobyl accident, 3 – for disabled veterans.   
Also Oleksandr Ledyda presented to seven disabled citizens keys to special cars, including 4 "CEHC" cars (with normal control) and 3 "Geely" cars (hand-operated). Thus, according to the Ministry of Social Policy limits for 2012, Transcarpathians with disabilities were given 38 cars.
– It’s nice that we start the year with such happy events. To care about the welfare of vulnerable groups is the duty of the state. We see how many cars our compatriots received in 2012. It is encouraging that the quality of these cars has significantly improved. As for apartments – today we handed the keys to the record number of Transcarpathians. 11 of our countrymen will be living in the new rooms, which were purchased, with the requirements of the recipients taken into account – Oleksandr Ledyda said.
