Today is the second day of the “Transcarpathian Beaujolais” young wine festival in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv, the Head of the Executive Committee of Uzhgorod City Council Olena Makara, the Head of the Union of Private Winemakers of Transcarpathia Oleksandr Kovach also visited the festival. Here you can taste hot mulled wine, tinctures, Transcarpathian and other dishes, buy wines, cheeses, sausages, nuts, honey, sweets and pastries, souvenirs. A thematic photo zone is set up in the yard of the "Owl’s Nest", where anyone can take photos to remember the festival and Uzhgorod. According to the deputy director of the utility company “Pid zamkom”, Fedir Koval, this year 40 entrepreneurs, half of whom are winemakers, are taking part in the "Transcarpathian Beaujolais". In addition to Transcarpathian ones, entrepreneurs from Odesa, Rivne and Ternopil are also taking part. Today, many tourists have come to the festival. Guests were entertained by local musicians, including the folk-ethnographic ensemble "Uzhgorod", the vocal duet "Pysanka", and tonight’s concert program will feature the Transcarpathian ethno bands "Antsya" and "Rock-H", tomorrow – "Vandor".
