Today is the National Day of Libraries (PLAN OF EVENTS)

September 30 is the National Day of Libraries. Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library organizes a series of events on this holiday.

Events:

– "Become a library reader today!" (free issuance of a reader’s card) 

– "Absolution from sins" (debtor readers can return books to the library without penalties).

– "Give the library a modern Ukrainian book". The promotion will last for a year. The final event will be held on September 30, 2017. 

– "Fly-books" (from 13.00 to 14.00) at the intersection of Voloshin street and the Passage. residents and guests of the city will be able to receive the necessary information in mobile phones and receive as a present a miniature book, which provides information about the book fund and the range of services of all departments of the library. 

– "Librarian for an hour" (visitors will have the opportunity to serve as a library worker and learn some professional secrets). 

14.00 – 20.00 – "Biblio-cafe" (tasting of literary novelties and library services with fragrant coffee and tea)

 Master classes: 17.00 -19.00

The beauty salon "Patriot" invites (reproduction of patriotic symbols in elements of hairstyle, manicure and body art), library lobby.

"Ukrainian Symbols in Trend!" (weaving of bracelets) (II floor, Department of Fiction)

"Journey to the Land of Flowers" from the store "Edera" (secrets of floristics) (II floor, Department of scientific information and bibliography) 

"The world in a drop of glass" (sharing the experience of making beaded jewelry from Larysa Padyak, leading bibliographer) (III floor, Department of Local Lore)

Auction: 19.00 – 20.30

Charitable "Biblio-auction" (targeted assistance to the soldiers of the Ukrainian Army). Lots of the auction are: the latest books of September, works of decorative and applied arts and crafts (III floor, Reading Hall).

"Night in the Library": 20.30 – 23.00

– "Poetic microphone" (presentation of works by young and famous writers): 

– performances by the band "Etude", the magician Oleksandr Shagur, amateur musician Yuliy Husti and others.

23.00 – Fire show.
