Today in Uzhgorod, there will be the March for Kruty Heroes

The organization "Carpathian Sich" is organizing the march for Kruty Heroes, which will begin January 29 at 18.00 at the monument to Taras Shevchenko (Narodna Sq.). The co-organizer is the "Svoboda" party.
January 29 became for Ukrainian nation a symbol of indestructibility and sacrifice for the independence of Ukraine. On this day in 1918, there was a battle at Kruty – one of the important events of modern Ukrainian historical memory that has long ceased to be perceived as ordinary historical event. 
Honoring of the killed boys is held annually throughout Ukraine, including Transcarpathia. 
We invite everyone to join the solemn procession and light a candle in memory of young heroes who bravely gave their lives for the freedom of Ukrainian state.
