New Year and Christmas holidays in Uzhgorod finish today.
The main sign of it is stripping and removing of city Christmas trees. This was reported by the press service of Uzhgorod City Council.
In particular, today, the "Zakarpatelektrobud" LLC will remove lights and ornaments from the Christmas trees on Teatralna and S.Petofi Squares and later the "Uzh-AgroMix" company will cut the tree from Teatralna Square for firewood and will distribute it among Uzhgorod residents for heating according to applications received by the City Council.
The Christmas tree on S.Petofi will continue to grow.
