Today, Hungary will give Transcarpathia a humanitarian aid of chlorine for purifying drinking water

Today, at the border crossing point "Tisa", representatives of the Government of Hungary will hand over a shipment of liquid chlorine used for disinfection of drinking water to the Transcarpathian regional officials. This humanitarian action is the response to the request of the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal to the Consul General of Hungary in the city of Uzhgorod Jozsef Buhajla to supply Hungarian liquid chlorine for Transcarpathia.

Recall that due to the shutdown of the Ukrainian company "Dnipro-Azot", the stock of chlorine for the uninterrupted operation of the pump-filtering stations of the region will last just for several weeks. After that, the enterprises will be forced to stop centralized supply of water to the citzens, which will inevitably lead to an outbreak of infectious diseases.

Approximate time of chlorine delivery is 15.00
