Today, “Cantus” will perform with a concert of sacred music “Miserere”

On Maundy Thursday, visitors of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum will be able to listen to the music that gives spiritual cleansing. 

The leading collective of the region – Academic Chamber Choir "Cantus" – will perform with a program of "Miserere" (or "Have mercy on me, O Lord") consisting of the best examples of sacred by music composers from different countries and eras, from the Renaissance to the present. These include spiritual works of J de Prés, G Palestrina, G Allegri, A Lotti, Z Kodály, S Barber, F Martin and others.

Artistic director – Emil Sokach. Choirmaster – Ondrash Tazinger.
