To work in the new police, Transcarpathian protection police officers will have to undergo re-certification

Recently, the head of the protection police department in Transcarpathian region met with the employees of the Department who wish to continue working in the police. 

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of personnel policy at the Department after the reorganization and the work of the Department in the new environment.

– It’s no secret that under the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police", new regional offices of the National Police, including the protection police, were established. Today we are working to build a system in which the protection police will be effectively performing its functions. And we continue to protect the property of citizens – the head of the department said.

The head of the Transcarpathian protection police drew the attention of the Department officers to preparation for the re-certification. Because, in order to continue serving already in the ranks of the National Police, they will have to pass exams.

– We are at the final stage of the reform. You have to understand, no one will be transferred from the old to the new police automatically – Andriy Lytovchenko says.- All officers, who want to continue working for protection of citizens’ property, will have to undergo re-certification. Everyone will take exams: those are mathematical, analytical tasks, logical puzzles. And, of course, the test for knowledge of the legislation.

– The process will be transparent and impartial. So take this into consideration and already start preparations for testing – the head of the department added.
